One script I enjoy is one that executes commands prefixed with "$" by defining a function in my .zshrc. Another helpful script checks file types and resolves symbolic links, returning their details. Additionally, scripts for extracting tar/zip files into a temporary directory and changing to that directory are significantly useful for quick inspections without cluttering the home directory.
